A few minutes of regular care can improve pickup, navigation and docking while reducing tangles and avoidable errors. Use this schedule as a reminder, then follow the manual for your exact robot and dock.

After every cleaning run
Weekly robot checklist
Main roller
Remove it as directed. Cut and unwind hair, clean end caps and inspect bristles or rubber fins for wear.
Side brush
Remove trapped hair and check for bent arms, cracks or missing bristles.
Filter and bin
Clean only by approved methods. Never wash a filter unless it is explicitly washable.
Caster and drive wheels
Remove debris around axles and confirm normal rotation and spring movement.
Sensors and camera windows
Use a clean dry lint-free cloth unless the manual permits another method.
Bumper and body
Brush dust from seams and confirm the bumper presses and returns evenly.
Power down before maintenance
Remove the robot from its dock and unplug the station when instructed. Never immerse, hose or spray the robot or dock. Keep liquids away from charging contacts, electronics, motors and openings.
Mop-system checklist
Wash and dry pads
Do not leave damp, dirty pads resting against the robot or floor.
Manage clean and dirty water
Empty and rinse as directed; do not let wastewater stand longer than permitted.
Inspect outlets and trays
Remove approved debris without inserting sharp tools into valves or pumps.
Use only approved products
Unapproved detergents may foam, clog components, damage floors or affect pets.
Monthly dock inspection
Calendar reminders are only a starting point
Replace a part sooner if it tears, cracks, deforms, loses bristles, stops sealing or causes declining performance. Confirm the exact model, generation and part number before ordering.

How often should I clean my robot vacuum?

Can I wash robot-vacuum parts?
Only parts explicitly identified as washable. Keep electrical parts dry and allow washable components to dry completely for the stated period.
Why is suction weaker after maintenance?
Check that the bin, filter, roller cover, seals and brushes were reinstalled correctly and that air paths remain clear.
Should I reset app maintenance reminders?
Reset a reminder only after completing the stated cleaning or replacement. A reset does not confirm that a part is actually clean or undamaged.
